Media Bias Rating
STTPN rating: Lean Left
AL.com covers Alabama campaigns and state government in detail, and that coverage is largely straight. Its fast national politics stories, shared with other Advance Local sites, are written in a mocking, loaded style that targets President Trump and Republicans far more often than Democrats.
A rating describes the publication’s overall editorial tendencies in its market, not any individual article, and it is not a judgment of factual accuracy.
