Political-leaning classification

Publication-level political leaning: Right

Last reviewed

In 16 news articles and 5 opinion columns from August to October 2026 on the midterms, immigration and voting enforcement, the economy and the courts, Fox News showed a consistent right-leaning tendency. Headlines and reporters' own descriptions repeatedly used conservative framing, such as "illegal aliens," "Biden-appointed judge" and "socialist" for a Democratic candidate, and coverage of noncitizen-voting cases often included no critics. Fox also published reporting unfavorable to Republicans, including its own polls, and most of its opinion columns argued conservative positions.

This label describes the publication's overall editorial tendencies, not any individual article, and it is not a judgment of factual accuracy.
