Media Bias Rating
STTPN rating: Lean Left
The New Jersey Monitor covers the governor, Legislature and New Jersey's elections. Its own state reporting is generally straight, but its selection of national network stories and commentary leans left, often emphasizing criticism of the Trump administration on voting, immigration and health care.
A rating describes the publication’s overall editorial tendencies in its market, not any individual article, and it is not a judgment of factual accuracy.
